Children's Holiday Courses

Children's holiday courses run throughout the year and are particularly popular during the school holidays. Unaccompanied children are welcome and stay on site (please see accommodation page) under the supervision and care of one of our staff. 

Most children choose to take our standard course where they are allocated a pony to look after and have two group riding lessons and a group stable management session per day. They share rooms with other holidaymakers, help out with yard duties and ride in groups according to ability. English tuition for overseas visitors can also be combined with riding tuition and Talland staff are happy to assist with travel plans to and from Talland.

Tailored competition courses to suit the individual comprising either private or group tuition with senior instructors are also available. For more details on this option please contact the Talland office on +44(0)1285 740155 or email secretary@talland.net 

At peak times (Summer holidays) unaccompanied children's courses run from Sunday afternoon until the following Saturday. For two or more week courses an outing to one of the many local attractions is arranged for Sundays when there is no riding available. Children not requiring accommodation are also very welcome to join the holiday courses on a daily basis.

Children's holiday course rates are £75 per day

Talland accommodation is £35 per night (inc. all meals)

English tuition can be arranged at £30 per hour
